Job Title: Microsoft Systems
Engineer
Office: White Plains and New York City |

Job Description:
The Microsoft Systems Engineer is principally responsible
for the design, planning and installation of Microsoft based
operating systems as well as the integration and support of
network based software applications for CI Spectrum clients.
The individual will configure the systems and software to
meet client business needs. Responsibilities will include
responding to on-site implementations as well as functioning
as part of an implementation team on larger projects. This
position is a high-profile growth opportunity that demands
a technically skilled, highly motivated individual with good
communication and organizational skills who is eager to learn
and become part of a rapidly-growing systems integration company. |

Principal Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality integration services to CI Spectrum
clients, including the design and on-going support of Microsoft
Networks, Microsoft Software Applications and several custom
applications which we have developed for our clients.
- Ensure technical excellence in service & delivery
to maximize billable time and customer satisfaction and
to minimize non-billable time.
- Submit time sheets promptly, thoroughly and accurately,
with appropriate breakdown of billable time by activity,
to ensure company profitability and meet billed utilization
goals for the position.
- Prepare work product documentation, checklists, training
materials and standards documents to ensure a high-quality
of service delivery and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Thoroughly test all work, and involve the client in acceptance
testing to ensure their needs are met. Through thorough
testing, ensure that client systems are fully functional
and meet the client’s business needs.
- Follow CI Spectrum procedures to deliver services in
an organized, effective and professional manner.
- Implement on-site support calls & projects as directed.
- Report directly to the Manager of Engineering.

Qualifications:
- BS or BA in a technical discipline required.
- Technical experience with Windows 2000 and 2003 Active
Directory design & implementation, Microsoft Exchange
Server, Microsoft Security, Microsoft SQL & Microsoft
Sharepoint (a plus).
- Certified Microsoft MCSE.
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting and deployment experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot
problems with speed and efficiency is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral
and written, are required.

and troubleshooting is required. Experience with Microsoft
Operating Systems is required. Experience with Macintosh
and/or UNIX internetworking, TCP/IP, Internet connectivity
or Wide Area Networking is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot
problems with speed and efficiency is required.
